I adore the sprightly floral Zina Studios print on my living room sofa (it was a favorite of Sister Parish’s) and how cheery and joyful it is. A throw is the finishing touch it needed to really feel pulled together, and I actually found one that worked well with the flower print and its many shades of blue. Finding the perfect shade of blue to coordinate took a bit of searching, and when I discovered the Carlotta cashmere throw from @scandiahome.us, I knew my floral print had found its match in this rich blue shade called Aegean. Woven in Italy, it is one of the most luxe and unique fringed cashmere throws, because it has a faint diagonal pattern and a twill weave that runs through it. When there is a chill in the air, there’s nothing like wrapping yourself up in the softest, warmest cocoon of cashmere. If you still haven’t found that perfect present for that hard-to-shop-for friend or client, a gorgeous throw is a great idea, because you can never have too many. The best gifts are sometimes finishing touches, things that bring comfort, joy and are downright cozy. This throw is all that and more.
